reconciling things

“Allow it all to happen: beauty and terror…” Rilke

In this blog I am trying to trace my spiritual journey to discover when I became Catholic.  I don’t know, yet, when that moment was.  But, I do know the moment I stopped being a Protestant.  I was already neck deep in love with The Real Presence.  I already loved the Mass.  I already was feeling like there was a great disconnect between what I had been taught about the Catholic Church and what was the truth.  Then I watched this video.  (It’s long, but worth it.) The protest was officially over.  I would not refer to myself as a Protestant again.
